Description
The Commercial Office of Taipei is a governmental liaison of Taiwan in Dubai that is aimed to promote bilateral trade, business, investment, tourism, science technology cooperation and cultural exchanges between Taiwan and the UAE. In view of the lack of diplomatic relations between Taiwan and the UAE, the Commercial Office of Taipei has been regarded as the de facto Consulate General of Taiwan in Dubai since its establishment in 1979.
Currently there are Division of Consular Affairs and Division of Government Information in the Commercial Office of Taipei, providing consular services and promoting Taiwan image to the public in the UAE.
