As a francophone institution, Saint Joseph's University has a long history of student mobility since it was founded by the Jesuits in 1875. This experience has grown considerably since the adoption of the European Transferable Credit System (ECTS). in 2003, allowing hundreds of students each year to join the USJ for a stay in exchange or to pursue their studies and graduate. And the hundreds of agreements with universities in the North and South continue to reinforce this dynamic.
